Free parking is available on the grounds of the cabin. There is also available parking for your boat trailer up to 16 ft.

Security Deposit Policy.<br />
<br />
A refundable security deposit of $300 is required for all bookings at this property.<br />
<br />
Purpose<br />
The security deposit is held to cover any potential damages, excessive cleaning, missing or broken items, unauthorized smoking, unauthorized pets, or other violations of house rules that occur during your stay. It is not a cleaning fee, damage waiver, or extra charge. It is fully refundable if the property is left in the same condition as when you arrived (normal wear and tear excepted). <br />
<br />
How the Security Deposit Works  <br />
The $300 security deposit will be collected via a pre-authorization hold on your credit/debit card (or via a separate secure payment method such as Stripe, Square, or Venmo, depending on the booking method) at the time of booking or check-in.  <br />
No funds are charged to your card unless damage or rule violations are identified.  <br />
The hold is typically released within 48–72 hours after your checkout, once the property has been inspected and confirmed to be in good condition.  <br />
In the rare event that damages or extra costs exceed the $300 deposit, you will be responsible for the additional amount, and we will provide documentation (photos, receipts, etc.) before charging your card or requesting payment.<br />

What May Result in a Deduction from the Deposit  <br />
Damage to furniture, appliances, walls, floors, linens, or any part of the property  <br />
Missing or broken items (e.g., dishes, remotes, keys)  <br />
Excessive trash left behind or deep cleaning required beyond normal turnover  <br />
Unauthorized smoking inside the property (including vaping)  <br />
Unauthorized pets or evidence of pets (even if no pet fee was paid)  <br />
Stains on linens, towels, mattresses, or carpets  <br />
Any rule violations that cause additional cleaning or repair costs<br />

Inspection & Refund Process  <br />
We perform a thorough walkthrough inspection after each checkout.  <br />
You will be notified within 48 hours of checkout if any deductions are necessary.  <br />
If no issues are found, the hold will be released automatically (or refunded if charged).  <br />
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed back to the original payment method.<br />

The security deposit is separate from any cleaning fee, pet fee, or other charges listed in your booking.  <br />
By booking this property, you agree to this Security Deposit Policy and accept responsibility for any costs beyond normal wear and tear.  <br />

Traveling with Infants

We are happy to host your little ones and provide a portable crib and blackout shades to help with sleep schedules. Our single-level layout also means no interior stairs to navigate.

Please note that the home is not fully child-proofed: we do not have baby gates, plug protectors, or cabinet locks. For their safety, infants must be supervised at all times and are not permitted on the deck unattended. Our wraparound deck is a highlight of the home, but it requires active adult supervision for young children.

The Mountain Modern kitchen is fully stocked and designed for real cooking, featuring an open-concept layout that keeps you connected to the rest of the cabin. Whether you're brewing morning coffee to catch the sunrise or preparing a family meal, you'll have everything you need in a bright, stylish space.

Maximum 4 persons except where permission is granted.

The wrap-around deck is the heart of the outdoor experience, offering a perfect spot for gas-grill cookouts and breathtaking sunrise views over the trees. Beyond the deck, you can wander through your private, wooded acre to the fire pit for an evening under the stars—all just a five-minute stroll from the lake and boat launch.

Pet Policy

One dog up to 40 lbs is welcome with prior approval and a $100 pet fee. Two small dogs may be considered case by case if their combined weight does not exceed 60 lbs. Larger dogs require prior approval before booking. Dogs must be crated if left unattended. The pet fee does not cover damage or excessive cleaning.

Service animals are welcome as required by law.

Your safety and peace of mind are top priorities at the Little Lake House. The cabin is fully equipped with integrated smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first-aid kit for any unexpected needs. For a seamless and secure arrival, we use a smart lock system with unique codes for every guest, ensuring the home is always private and protected throughout your stay.

No smoking is allowed in the cabin. Smoking is allowed on the property at least 20 feet from any entrance or window.

Whether you're here for a "workation" or a movie night after a day on the lake, the cabin is fully equipped with high-speed 500+ Mbps Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace that includes a printer. Each bedroom features a Smart TV for your favorite apps, and we’ve included a portable projector so you can create a custom cinema experience anywhere in the house.
